    Well I dont understand you guys... Why the hell u start cursing... If i was a Devil or what so ever taking a illegal route... I wouldnot have posted this question here but would have gone the route and started the process

    Btw before cursing.. at least think twice...

    and wat about all those desi who work with consultancy who stay on bench etc etc ... where does Oct 2nd/ gone for them..,..? I am sure people who cursed me were one of them !

    Infact ateast I am open and willing to ask people before taking any unethical step or wrong step...!

    Actually, I don't think there really is a ROW is there? Isn't it just that 193 country columns isn't practical.

    actually as and when a country hits the 7% per-country limit or in general becomes a big consumer of visas, it gets its own column.

    China for instance has been in and out. In 1999 it was its own column, became part of ROW in 2002 and now again has its own column:

    Hi iyera,

    As per my immig. atty it takes between 2-3 months for the h1 to h4 processing. Unfortunately there is no premium processing for h4 unless you piggy back it with an h1 processing. Hope this helps.

    thats what gist of it i was not there
    the vo seems to be saying that last time when he went to stamping he filled his client details like where he working and which was az at that time and this VO was saying now you are working in NJ ,the confusion seems to becaused by the clinet letter in which his manager wrote that he directly reports to him as consultant,VO is assuming that he working here without preoper documents,atleast that what i understood:confused:.

    I work for company A. I found a project for myself with X through another company B. (The end client is X and the middleman is B. My company A has contract with company B NOT WITH company X (end client)

    I have an offer from end client X and my company is in the process of suing me in Virginia as I have a non-compete agreement not to work for client/end client or client's end client.

    Has anyone come across such situation. Please help me.

    I work on hourly rates and don't get paid if I am on bench. Can this be used nullify the contract as this is not legal on H1.

    yes you can. As per AC 21 once you have counted towards h1b number in last 6 year you are not counted again. So assuming your original h1 wasn't though non profit orgainzation, you can apply for new h1. If you have your I 140 approved you get 3 years h1. PM me if you need more info. I have done it.

    and btw, h1b premium processing takes 15 days, so don't panic.

    Hi Folks, I have a question about traveling to India...

    Want to travel from US to Indore, India. As I need to change planes either Mumbai or Delhi, how does it work?

    1. I came to know that in Mumbai, it is just change of terminals, not airports. Am I right?

    2. How about Delhi? Once I arrive at International airport in Delhi, to catch a domestic flight to Indore, is it change of airports or just change of terminals? Is there a shuttle provided?

    RAYSAIKAT pretty much summed it up right...
    @Mumbai...you get to the International Terminal and then depending on which domestic carrier you are flying with to Indore, most likely they will arrange for the shuttle to the Domestic Terminal. It is about a 10 min ride and you will have to pick up your luggage and go through customs/immigration before this. I know that Jet Airways (not sure about others) even checks in your bags at the Int'l terminal so you don't have to carry all that with you on the shuttle.
    Having said that, if I were you I would definitely make sure that there is enough (at least 4 hrs, I feel) time between the two flights so you are not left running around gasping for breath! ;)

    Sorry...not idea about Delhi...never took an Indore flight from there...only Mumbai...

    Yes, I responded in march of this year.Few LUD's in July and Aug but no GC.

    If you work for a consulting firm requiring you to work for clients at various locations your labor application should have stated as various locations within US instead of one location. Since your labor was filed in 2002 i assume it was using old labor process (State labor than Regional thru BEC), the rules for that labor filing state that Company should file the state labor in the state where it is headquartered if employee is supposed to working at various locations. My labor was filed that way and application stated location as various within US. If you had that than it should not be an issue.
    On March 12 2009 I got an query on my I-485.
    Requesting discrepancy in the labor applied on Nov'7 2002 and present working place.

    My company(abc ltd) applied labor on Nov'07 2002 while I was working at the clients(xyz) place in Los Angeles.

    I got my I-140 approved on Feb'15 2006, while I was with the same client(xyz) at that time.

    On Dec'04 2006 I moved to Detroit, started working with different client.

    RFE goes like this.

    The Documentation submitted with your application and/or a review of service records indicate that you no longer reside in the same state or geographical location as the underlying form i-140 immigration petitioner and /or job location specified by your intended permanent employer.

    There fore submit a currently dated letter from your original form I-140 employer which which address this discrepancy.

    I am still working with the same employer who filed my labor certification.


    Any gurus who can suggest me on the query would be greatly appreciated.

    Is that all he said? I wonder why he did not say they should be screened for their skin color, their Shakespearean English and BTW all the applications of legal residents and naturalized Citizens here who are non Europeans ought to be revisited to ensure they fit the new criteria. Perhaps actually saying that would have been too politically incorrect.

    This guy is unbelievably anti-immigrant. Even many anti-immigrants feel he is too far to their right on this issue. Him in the house and Sen. Jeff Sessions in the Senate cannot be changed. They are rather openly vile, vicious and virulent in their attack of any and all immigrants.............legal or illegal. That is why they are given so much airtime on CNN with Lou Dobbs.

    The real irony of it all to me is that the ancestors of many of the Mexicans (albeit illegal) immigrants crossing the southern border are indigenous people of the Americas (the new world) like Mayans and Aztecs (atleast in part). His (Tancredo's) predecessors on the other hand are "invaders" like he terms todays immigrants. I wish one day his kind of people who seem like they feel America is their divine gift from god get asked this question in a public forum.
