your site is not a good intro for business.
"home", "about" and "services" all link back to index, no content, no details about who is behind this, the examples provided in "portfolio" are not even clickable, and worst, the mail link doesn't work from index.html as it's misconfigured (emailto instead of mailto..), only from the portfolio page, but on this page, the link on the portfolio menu is wrong,
basically, you better hurry and get that site done if you're looking for jobs...

For EB3 case, after receiving the approval for I 140, I know that we have to wait till DOL Proiority Date is current to be able to file for I485.
If we decide to receive the green card in any consulars overseas, can we just go ahead and file the I485 after getting the I140 approval? (without waiting for PD to be current)
Any advice would be appreciated?

Not sure about the first question. SKIL bill will exempt any advanced degree from US or Advanced degree in STEM from outside + 3 Years. PACE, TALENT and the current CIR only exempt STEM Advanced degree + 3 Yrs
I am not totally sure. I recall reading one amendment where they mentioned 203(b) in conjunction with this - which means EB2 qualification.

I HAVE H1 APPROVED TILL 04/10 BUT I ENTERED USA USING AP THIS YEAR SO MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT I AM ON EAD NOW WITH SPONSORING EMPLOYER. I AM ASLO DOING PARTIME JOB IN OTHER FIELD ON EAD SINCE 01/08. please advise what are my options. I-140 is pending and i have 9th year H1-B expiring Dec 2009. still working for same company. in case I-140 stays pending up to December 2009. what should i do to stay in status.

Hi all,
My current H1B I-797 will expire in Sep. 30th. My company is in process of filing a 3yr extension, but they are still in the 10-day job posting period, so the attorney will not probably file until mid-Sep. Hopefully with Premium processing it might get approved before the end of Sep.
My question: My latest H1B visa stamp was issued for 1 year (county-limit), and expires on Oct-17. Due to admin processing, it took almost 5 months to renew it last time. If i have the approval 797, and go to renew my visa either at home consulate, or in Canada, what would happen? A. Would they renew the visa without doing any new sec. checks or admin processing? B. Would they cancel my current visa if they put my new one on admin processing? C. Else?
The purpose is just to have a renewed H1B before my current one expires, if this will be any advantage.
Please advice.

Immigration Law from Houston Immigration Lawyer - Annie Banerjee Has Just Posted the Following:
The DOL introduced a new Prevailing Wage system which will centralize everything. Previously each State's Workforce Agency gave those Prevailing Wage. Obviously there were discrepancies in how each SWA operated causing problems with DOL filings.
However, DOL introduced this new system of centralized Prevailing Wage determination with no computerized system of filing. We have to mail in our request to the DOL. Then the DOL will take forever to come up with a Prevailing Wage. The DOL has advised employers to file the Prevailing Wage 60 days prior to advertising for a PERM, since the ads expire in 6 months. This is strange because the DOL went computerized much earlier than the CIS did. Why could they not have a faster computerized process BEFORE centralizing the whole process? Was this then intentional?
This will slow down businesses, and filing of immigration. Similarly in July of 2009 the DOL significantly slowed down the LCA filings for H-1Bs. Which makes me wonder if DOL is slowing down things as a protectionist measure which caters to socialism? Is this the death of free enterprise, and business at the speed of 21 Century? It was another Democratic President and Congress that passed the AC 21 to speed the process up about a decade ago.
