Call nearest DOL office from a public phone and with a fake identity...........
tell them your friend is in trouble and explain the situation to them....they will guide you

I have talked to them and they need only the name of Company and the name of victim .....rest they will do themselves.
I understand you might not have all the documents/proofs............dont worry.........DOL knows it is a common phenomenon with such consulting company.

It is not an issue for people of Indian origin who are returning, of planning to return, back to India for whatever reason. They are the lucky (?) ones to have either a Indian passport or PIO card or OCI card so they are eligible to work on that basis.
But how about those who do not qualify for one of the above? There is an increasing number of foreigners working in India - how do they become eligible to work in India? Is there an equivalent of an H1B, or may be oneday GC & Citizenship?

The local San Diego USCIS office suggests that certain remedies may be available for military families facing the problem of ineligibility to adjust status because of unlawful entry by a family member seeking adjustment of status. Most often the situation occurs when a United States citizen service member�s spouse entered without inspection and thus cannot adjust status. Like they are taking away chance from American Citizen basketball players and if they are supressing the NBA player's wages etc etc.... :D:D
I guess we should send this to Lou Dobbs and Mr. Grassley too !! This is highly unfair - only American citizens should be allowed in NBA, MLB , NFL etc etc. :D
Just let them bring a resolution and next year half the teams would be empty.;)

I think it is not the company but the service provider's gateway address. This usually happens in Iselin, Edison - NJ areas where there is a huge concentration of immigrants. USCIS is probably tracking and blocking the IPs.

Me and My friend developed a product, which is ready to launch. The product is very good and two fortune 500companies are willing to implement the product and back us up.
Now my problem is I am on H1B working fulltime with a company and also have an EAD. At this moment I cannot leave my fulltime job. My question is , if I can be a partner with my friend in the new company we are forming( My friend is a US citizen), also will I be able to get paid ( as the developement of the product drained my pocket, this was the hope and I think we are close to reap the hardwork) . Also my wife is also on EAD , can she be the partner? Will there be any issue if I can do that.

thanks to everyone here for the kind input, I am almost done with my GC application under NIW. Since I have a load of documents for primary evidence,
how should I arrange them and where should I mention the "table of contents" so to speak. I have a detailed cover letter also.

INS prefers or should I use the term "requires" a certain way of organizing documents using certain clips. You can search online for them. They do this because it helps in filing them the documents at their office.

My salary in 2011 has been raised by $20K per annum, from what it was in 2010.
Will this have any consequences on my next H-1B renewal OR if i go for visa stamping OR on the PERM application?
Mine is a small company with just 12 employees and I hold the same position as I used to when i sarted. I just want to know if there would be any issues with this on any stages.
Your replies would be appreciated.
It's no problem at all if you make exactly the same amount as mentioned on your H1B petition or if you make more than that. It never is an issue to make more $$$$$$. Make hay while the sun shines.:D

My Company says that the Minimum Job requirement for the my JOB is
5 years of progressive exp in developing applications in JAVA
and there in 2 years of experience in mobile systems.
I have 6 years of progressive experience in Java, and 4 years in mobile systems. Do you anticipate any issues with an EB2 approval.
I always thought eb2 is ms/bs+ 5 years of progressive, i never know it could be bs + 5 years in core skills and 2 years in others.

I dont think this is going to affect non immigrant community (read as H1s, GC etc). This is all about politics to gain the support of rich and influential Indian American community for the DNC and upcoming elections.

I don't understand this, we are talking about these backlogs, which are effecting about 300K - 500K skilled immigrants, and we only have about 4000 members yet. We should take this as challenge and go on to drive to speak to people like us to increase the members strength, so we will have significant backing and Senate / House / President will pay attention to what we request.

I have been in US on L1 with Company A and then I changed several jobs and am on H1 with Company B. My I-140 has been filed by Company B and is approved . Company B also has an office in India. Can I take a transfer to Company B's office for 1 year and then come back to US on L1 visa and all this while still manage to continue my GC processing.

Yes you would need a transit visa. In fact in Air India (not sure about other airlines) without transit visa you cannot even board the plane from US
