What exact external HDD do you connect via what interface (USB & Firewire) to what exact Mac with what exact Mac OS X version?
And what do you mean with "it won't repair" via Disk Utility? Can you provide more info for that?

No worries, although - you actually have to conjure up the image in your mind.
I walked in on mine.I heard mine when I was 10. The night terrors still haunt me. The final quote: my mom saying "well, I think that's all for tonight." Really. Then the two of them went to separate bathrooms and, shortly thereafter, flushed toilets. Yeah, it was 29 years ago, and I remember it still. Of course, the nightmares help keep it in focus.

I'm fine with SkypeOut. One number for the rest of the world. But like I said. It would be nice, if Apple keeps their Phone open to other IMs (mass market).

i love these threads, i always find so many useful things.
aps that i use everyday are:
sidetrack: i don't know what i'd do without it. i hear that next revision we will start having to pay for it though.
adium: the only way i've managed to get both aim and msn file transfers to work + it looks amazing
menu calendar: i believe that while it is not free for full features you can still use the basic ones without paying. i've somehow managed to anyway. i really like having the date number in my menubar.
clear dock: not really needed but i like it
quicksilver: i can imagine not having this program, it makes life so much easier.
bytecontroller: control itunes from your menubar
gcount: gmail notifier
firefox: i find that it is faster than safari and i've just generally taken a liking to it.
i think that is about it on the free stuff

Ah you visited Portugal. Did you like it?
I really did, it was such a nice place to let the 17-40 f4.0L stretch it's legs!
I was on a Cruise and hit alot of Countries in the Med, and honestly, while we were only in portugal for a short time, it and Spain were my favorite countries, albeit I was in Spain for three times the time I was in portugal for, Portugal still beat the tits off France. Food was awesome, Climate, Scenery, People....the wine. Okay Italy might have better food. But just barely :D

What percentage of iPhone users are on Verizon (world wide)? Serious question, because I don't see how Verizon getting the iPhone 4 has anything to do with an iPhone 5 release date. I really doubt 4g will be coming with the next iPhone. Everyone seems to think Verizon and its customers have some sort of power over apple. Wasn't an issue for the rest of the world and all the carriers and customers that got iPhones mid-cycle between the 3GS and 4.

Still like my iphone 3GS and have the luxury to wait out any release as of September this year.
Don't always need the latest. If things work don't mess with it.

Does "I have no desire for a smartphone" go under "already have other phone" or under "undecided/other"?
If you already have another phone then "already have other phone" would be the logical choice. But really no one here cares whether or not if you don't want a smart phone.

I think that Apple MAY start selling computers (in what ever form they come) with subscriptions to "iCloud". They can save costs by throwing in a small SSD with enough space for iOS (which will be on all Apple machines by default) and letting users subscribe to the iCloud for space.
All at an amazing discount, much like the iPhone. Millions of users are doing this with their iPhones, not realizing (really) how much their iPhone is costing them over time. $199 just sounds like a great price. Imagine that, but it's an iMac for only $399 and $14.99 for an iCloud account. If you don't want an iCloud account, you pay regular price. This model works well for the iPhone.
You can always get local space, by buying your own hard drive and adding it.
I really don't know, but this idea came to me. I'm interested in seeing how MobileMe is going to change this year and if Apple comes up with something like this.

It's impossible to be 100% certain is a crap response, because in many cases it is 100% certain, and i've named a few already.
That is false. Even lawyers agree that 100% certainty is impossible. That is why we have the term "reasonable doubt". The 5 men wrongly sentenced to death in Ohio went through what was supposed to be an exceptionally thorough legal process, yet it still failed them.
Also, the whole financial issue is very debatable and i don't think anyone here has solid figures on it.
An unconvincing statement. Prove it.
The only reason it may cost more to execute someone is because of all the appeals and court costs, this can easily be fixed so execution is the most economical way.
Stalin, Gaddafi and Kim Jong Il would agree. You're in good company there.
I'm not going any further into this because my stance that some people are unworthy of life won't change. Peace out girl scout.

Aside from the fact that we don't all pack around Sharpies, Lightscribe and Labelflash offer a little more in the way of neatness.
Anyhow, it's only a matter of time before Apple implements some sort of disc-labeling system. I'd just rather see something sooner rather than later.
