So Samsung believed Apple was violating it's patents all this time but decided to do nothing about it. Now that they have been pushed they decide to act. Sounds to me they are trying to find whatever they can to bite back at Apple.
IF companies sued others for perceived infringement of patents, we wouldn't have anything new to buy.
Sony never sued asus for making clone laptops that were direct copies of sony vaio.

samsung is #2 patents holdings in USA. apple barely broke into top 50 recently.

I bet samsung told apple (in private negotiations) to come back with more patents if they want cross-license deal with samsung. and apple prob got pissed for being put down like that...

First Christmas present for this year; got it yesterday. It has Tiger which means it isnt compatible with ANYTHING but I should be able to get Leopard soon.
BTW; Does anyone know of any Twitter clients that are compatible with PowerPC 10.4-based Macs? Thankss. :)

Apple supports both Blu-ray and HD-DVD.
In fact HD-DVD support has been in DVD Player for a while now, and DVD Studio Pro supports HD-DVD projects, but not Blu-ray.

Can't say I've had any of those issues. I did have one issue with 4.3, and then with 4.3.1 with crazy battery drain. Turned out to be a hosed up Exchange thing. I deleted the email acct, and recreated it and poof. Battery issue fixed.
Looking forward to the "several enhancements" though. Wonder what those are??? :cool:

I've owned my SB (2011) MBP for over a month now. I have yet to use the Thunderbolt port and wished many times that it had USB3.0 support. Are there any Thunderbolt adapters available on the market yet? TB to USB 3.0 would be great. Alternatively a docking station would be cool. Anything besides the one LaCie drive?

I�d make it legal for people to consent to sex at a younger age but I also feel that parents need to retain the authority to withhold their consent for a 16year old to go out if they can�t trust their child to behave responsibly. It takes trust, respect and responsibility on the part of both parent and child. I think the subject needs to be more openly discussed, say my 14year old son wants to consent to sex with his 14year old girlfriend, there shouldn�t be any reason that I can�t call up the girl�s parents to talk it through before I let him out to a party etc.

So true. I will also stand with you that humanity has reached its technological peak, and there is nothing left to be invented. All we have to do now is lean back and smile at our incredible achievements.
